Traffic was delayed for approximately 30 minutes at milepost 132.
According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, more than one motorist had alerted authorities of a possible impaired driver. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was en route to the area prior to the accident.
A motorcyclist was attempting to pass a line of cars north of Etna when he left the roadway and lost control.
Traffic can be very heavy on much of the two-lane road on U.S. 89 through Star Valley during the summer months. The Wyoming Department of Transportation would like to meet with residents for their input on future projects.
