Crews from Lower Valley Energy were able to restore power to approximately 2,000 Star Valley residents on Thursday afternoon. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures for the evening of December 3, is forecast at 19 degrees with steady winds of 16-19 miles per hour and gusts as high as 30 miles per hour.

More than 50 people attended the public meeting on August 17, in Afton’s Civic Center to discuss a proposal that would ask the public to relinquish a portion of Salt River access in exchange for habitat improvements.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission is being asked to “relinquish 0.41 miles of hunting and fishing access easement along Christensen Creek in exchange for habitat improvements.”
