McCabe Smith anchored the offensive and defensive lines for the Star Valley Braves during back-to-back Wyoming 3A state championships in 2015 and 2016. Smith was honored by the Wyoming Chapter of the National Football Foundation on March 18, in Laramie at the Rochelle Gateway Center.
Wyoming won’t be flying under the radar in 2017 with plenty of returning talent from a team that won the Mountain Division of the Mountain West Conference last season.
The Lady Braves improved to (3-1)(2-0) and the Braves now sit at (1-1-1)(1-0-1).
The Star Valley soccer teams will be in Pinedale to take on the Wranglers in an important Southwest District match. Watch the game above in high-definition video. There will be no play-by-play.
The Lady Braves (1-1) will face Pinedale (0-2) on the road on Tuesday afternoon as both clubs open up district play. Star Valley will be back at home on Thursday as they host Riverton High School.
The Cody Fillies and Broncs picked up shutout wins in Afton with their varsity teams on Friday afternoon. The Powell girls will be in town on Saturday but the boys teams will have to clash another day due to travel restrictions.
